After getting huge popularity and success in season 1 of IPL it’s back in 2009 with same sponsor DLF. The second season 2 was aired on TV 18 April 2009 and continue till 24 May 2009 all the matches were played in South Africa due to general election in India. The final match was played between Deccan Charges and Royal Challengers Bangalore in which Deccan Charges defeated RCB by 6 wickets and become the emerge winner of IPL Season 2.
