As said the very first season of ISL was started from 2014 which was won by the Kolkata the name of winning team was “Atlético de Kolkata” they are also known as ADK. The final match was played on 20th December between Atlético de Kolkata Vs Kerala Blasters in which Kolkata defeated Kerala Blasters by 1-0 and becomes the emerge winner of Indian Super League. Iain Hume of Canada who played from Kolkata becomes the Hero of the League while Elano from Brazil played from Chennaiyin got the Golden Boot and SAndesh Jhingan from Kerala Blasters team become the emerging player.

The 2nd season of Indian Super League was won by the Chennaiyin. The final match was played on 20 December 2015 between Chennaiyin vs Goa at Fatorda Stadium in Goa which was won by Chennaiyin by 3-2.Chennayin lift up winning trophy of ISL season 2 and won the cash prize of Rs. 8 Crore and Goa got the cash prize of Rs. 4 Crore.
